Ascension Massage Therapy provides professional massage therapy services. All treatments are provided by qualified and insured practitioners.

• Appointments can be booked online through our website or by contacting us directly.

• A booking confirmation will be sent to your email address.

• Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time.

• We reserve the right to refuse service if a client arrives significantly late.

• Bookings made through our AI assistant or chatbot are subject to confirmation by our practitioner. We will contact you if a slot is no longer available.

When you contact Ascension Massage Therapy by phone, SMS, or website chat, your interaction may be handled by an automated AI assistant called "Ava" instead of a person. Ava can answer questions, take messages, and help with bookings.

Calls to our number are recorded so that Ava can converse with you, so we can take voicemails when no one is available, and for service-quality and training purposes. Recording is disclosed at the start of every call. You may ask to speak to a real person at any time and the call will be transferred or you can leave a message.

Ava is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Information Ava provides about services, prices, or general wellness topics is given on a best-efforts basis only. For anything clinical, please book a consultation with our practitioner.

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your appointment: Full refund or free rebooking.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment: 50% cancellation fee may apply.

• No-shows without prior notice: Full treatment fee may be charged.

• We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

• Payment is required at the time of booking or at the end of your appointment.

• We accept major credit/debit cards and cash.

• Prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.

For your safety and ours:

• Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries before your treatment.

• Massage therapy may not be suitable for certain conditions. We may require GP clearance for some treatments.

• We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if we believe it may be harmful to your health.

• If you feel unwell on the day of your appointment, please reschedule.

Massage therapy may not be appropriate if you have:

• Fever or acute illness

• Contagious skin conditions

• Recent surgery (without medical clearance)

• Severe cardiovascular conditions

• Certain pregnancy-related conditions

We maintain strict professional boundaries. Any inappropriate behaviour or requests will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

While we take every precaution to ensure safe and effective treatment, massage therapy carries inherent risks. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge these risks.
